The San Domenico Museums are home to one of the most important events
of 2010 for the town of Forlì: an exhibition dedicated to the history of flower
painting.

This important exhibition held at the San Domenico Museums develops
around and from this masterpiece, to depict the history of flower painting,
based on a new methodological approach, from the Naturalism of
Caravaggio to the Modernity of Van Gogh and Symbolism, to the onset
of the Twentieth century, before the historical avant-garde groups emerged.
